About The Ocean City Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is a three-mile-long pedestrian-only walkway lined with historical landmarks, shops, dining, pubs, and hotels. First built in 1902, the Boardwalk was created by hotel owners who wanted to make it easy for guests to walk between businesses on the beach. The Boardwalk was destroyed by a storm in 1962 and was rebuilt to its current length, which runs from our hotel all the way down to the inlet.
